Our Story

What began as sharing office space, evolved into something much more when friends and colleagues, John and Shelly Howard, and Karson and Marlene Kinikini came together with the goal of helping fellow clinicians recognize opportunities to make an impact for good and enjoy financial stability in private practice. Understanding the fear and hesitation that many experience when starting their own business, the Howards and Kinikinis set out to create a road map for others.

In 2011, Aspire was created and quickly became a place for camaraderie among clinicians and a training ground for new therapy practices. Aspire has built a reputation in the community for providing exceptional client care and a place for clinicians in training to receive diverse experience and outstanding supervision.

Aspire is more than 100 clinicians strong including affiliated private practitioners, employees and interns. We are striving to improve access to mental health care by expanding along the Wasatch Front with offices in Riverdale, Layton, Kaysville, Draper and future offices in Logan and St. George.
