About Michelle..

In her free time, Michelle can be found writing as well as making jewelry that she sells on Etsy. She loves to travel the world and speaks multiple languages.

Michelle graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in print journalism and worked as a reporter and copy editor at The Deseret News before transitioning to working with books. She has spent seventeen years in the publishing industry in a variety of guises, including as an author, editor, literary agent, and bookseller. For the past five years, she has also worked in the mental health industry on the administrative end, helping individuals access resources to help them improve their lives.

Michelle’s Motivation...

“I'm passionate about helping people improve their mental health and gaining access to resources to help them live healthier, happier lives. So even though I do not have the personality to be a therapist, it's wonderful that I can support those who do and make their jobs a little easier.

I am not a morning person—like, at all—so the only thing that drives me to wake up in the morning and go about my day is an alarm clock.”

Michelle is proud of…

Michelle is the author of numerous books, with the most recent about the beloved painter Bob Ross.
