Karson Kinikini
Chief Clinical Officer
About Karson..
Karson is married to Marlene, who also happens to be his boss as she is the President of Aspire. They have four kids and are headed toward empty nesting, as their last driver will soon be independently licensed. Karson is an adventurer and is up for trying most new things. His sights are presently set on taking to the skies for airborne adventures.
Karson received an Associate of Arts degree in Biology, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and master’s degrees in Educational Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. Karson interned at LDS Family Services, an employee assistance program, and in a private practice setting. Karson worked as the Mental Health Consultant for the Family Enrichment Center which serviced the Head Start program in Davis, Morgan, and Summit counties. When independently licensed, Karson began his own private practice and then went on to co-found Aspire in 2011.
Karson’s Motivation...
“My role as the Chief Clinical Officer at Aspire gives me the opportunity to focus on clinician development through individual and group supervision. I get to spend 15 hours each week assisting in clinician development.
By nature, I am a busy person and will most likely be found working on some project or another. I love to learn, have experiences, and help others. I love clinical work and I am passionate about preparing newer clinicians to assist the clients they work with.”
Karson is proud of…
Karson’s passions in life have been family, working to expand the services and accessibility of mental health in his community, and more recently, restoring a historic home in southern Georgia.
