About Becca..
Becca resides with her soon-to-be husband and two feisty cats. In her down time, you will find her partaking in any outdoor sport imaginable. She also enjoys dancing, traveling, cooking, and creating art.
Becca received a degree in photography, media art, and design in 2011. She has worked in the lifestyle and fashion industries as a photographer, producer, and Jr. art director. Becca went back to school in 2020 to chase a long-term goal to study psychology. Since starting, she has worked in various clinical settings. One notable clinical experience was facilitating CBT, DBT, and art-based therapeutic teachings approved by the in-house therapist at a dual diagnostic mental health rehab facility.
After being in school for a couple years, Becca decided to end her production job and focus on school and clinical experiences while gearing up to apply to doctoral programs. She has been with Aspire on the Intake Team for about a year and a half.
Becca’s Motivation...
“I find passion at Aspire in the small moments of interactions with others. I also love problem-solving and thinking abstractly. It is fun for me to listen to a client's goals and then place them with the best fit possible. There is more that goes into it than placing with whoever is open. We take into account goals, modalities, personality types, and common interests. In a way, it is mental health matchmaking, and it brings me a lot of pride and joy to be able to serve others in that way.
My ambitions are the most notable reason to get up and go about my day, after coffee. It also brings me happiness to converse with others and witness the sparkle in their eyes when they talk about their passions.”
Becca is proud of…
Becca is a multi-internationally published photographer and producer. However, the most proud accomplishment is getting into a funded doctoral program in clinical psychology. She starts this new journey in August 2024.
